The Lodge was built in 1998 with the sun and views of Mt Ruapehu in mind.It has 3 guest bedrooms, a loft that sleeps 4 people and a private wing.

Tairoa Lodge is only 5 minutes from Ohakune which is nestled at the base of Mt Ruapehu, with the Turoa and Whakapapa ski fields, and the Tongariro National Park

Hercules

Hercules the kunekune pig is a favourite with the children, some even like to sit on him!!

We usually have 1 or 2 pet lambs which are happy to be petted and fed
